Lived experience expert document analysis workshop

We are sharing this call for lived experience experts for a workshop on Lived Experience involvement in Mental Health Research

The workshop is part of a project funded by the Wellcome Trust and carried out by a partnership of researchers from the Centre for Evidence and Implementation (CEI), lived experience experts from the Global Mental Health Peer Network (GMHPN), independent lived experience consultants, and academic consultants. The project explores the role and impact of lived experience (LE) collaboration in mental health research supported/funded by Wellcome.

The workshop, set for 18th September,  is  part of a planned “document analysis”. They are reviewing documents from Wellcome and its funded projects to learn how people with lived experience have been involved in Wellcome’s mental health research.

They are inviting 8-10 lived experience expert adults (18+ years) who have contributed to mental health research as advisors or lived experience researchers to take part in an online workshop. There is payment at £25 per hour. Deadline for applications is 27th August. Further information and application form here.
