The Mental Health Social Care Incubator is launching another round of its Stepping into Research programme of supporting practitioners, lived experience researchers, and early career researchers to turn their research ideas into competitive funding applications. Over a six month period, they offer guidance and mentorship from experienced researchers who will work alongside successful applicants to develop their ideas into a proposal for funding.
The programme includes focused virtual workshops, tailored sessions on grant writing for specific NIHR funding streams, 1-to-1 coaching and open-door sessions: Personalised support from Incubator leads and NIHR Research Support Service Social Care Specialist Centre advisors, and an in-person grant writing event over 1-2 days to develop grant application writing skills.
The deadline for applications is on Friday 14 November. For futher information see the University of Manchester Stepping in Research website page here.
